If you
have any information that may be related to Svetlana and/or her
disappearance, or you know or heard of someone who may have this
information, or you have a suggestion that could help us in our search
efforts - we encourage you to use our anonymous contact forms (Tips
and
Message for the Family).
Every bit of information, even if it may appear irrelevant or
insignificant at first, is precious to us.
Help get
the word out by printing our latest flyers (English
or
Russian)
and giving copies to your friends, neighbors, co-workers. Circulate
them around in any way you feel is appropriate. We need volunteers for
the entire tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT), especially in rural and hard
to reach areas.

Help us
to promote this website. Mention it to your friends, post the
link on bulletin boards or newsgroups, instant message it, pass it on
to listservs, send it out in newsletters, add it to your email
signature, etc.
Sign our
guestbook. It is a great
source of support for the family during this ordeal.
Finally, please read
carefully Svetlana's description, look at her pictures, try to memorize
her face.
If you feel that she is
alive - then you may see her or have seen her somewhere: in a store, in
a car, at a restaurant, in a hospital, etc. Be prepared to recognize her
and record as much information as you possibly can - time, address,
vehicle's license plate, etc. Use either our online forms or any phone
number listed to the right to contact us.
If you assume she is dead -
then start looking for her body (if you are in position to do so). Check
you empty houses, vacant lots and commercial buildings. Look along
hiking trails and paths, and in ditches and ravines. Keep an eye out in
lakes, streams and other waterways, especially along banks and shores,
near piling, and under piers and docks. Check any abandoned or out of
the way place you can think of.
Once again, every little
help is big enough to make a difference.
